I hate you, you know.
I‘ll hate you forever.
Because instead of kindling my fire,
you dimmed my light.
You let the flames go out,
suffocated them under a bell jar.
And then for years,
there was no wood to burn,
no spark to enlight
my fire.
I got it back, eventually,
brighter than before.
I‘m burning, shining, blooming.
And you
are definitely
not.
